Dublin

The City of Dublin is a thriving relatively young city experiencing a surge in growth as people find the family-friendly suburban city, its multiple parks including Emerald Glen Park, highly rated schools, weekly Farmers Market, and variety of shopping and dining options an ideal place to live in the East Bay. Consistently one of the fastest growing cities in Alameda County for the past several years, Dublin offers a variety of housing opportunities from luxurious single-family homes to a variety of condominiums and garden homes. Dubliners are proud to share a city sisterhood with Bray, Ireland and celebrate the Irish heritage. You could say green is Dublin’s favorite color and everyone is a little Irish during the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, a two-day celebration that begins with a parade and draws more than 80,000 to the fun at the Civic Center on Dublin Boulevard. Dubliners also take pride in preserving a piece of its rich history at the Dublin Heritage Park, the site of the Old St. Raymond’s Church listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and its adjacent cemetery that dates back to 1859. At the crossroads of Highways 580 and 680, Dublin also has two BART stations and offers convenient access for commuters traveling into San Francisco, Oakland, Hayward and Fremont, south to Silicon Valley, north into Contra Costa County and east into the central valley.
